In these Terms, “you,” “your” or “user” shall mean any person who accesses this application for any reason whatsoever.

When are these Terms applicable and binding on User?

By accessing the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Website.

We may change these Terms from time to time. We will notify you about any changes by updating the date of this page and we encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever it is updated as well. Any changes shall take effect from the date they are posted on the Website. Your continued use of the Website following such changes constitutes acceptance of those changes and all other terms in this agreement that apply to your use of the Website.

Does a User always have to make an account on the Platform?

1. You must be a member of the Royal Jersey to use it. To become a member, you must register for an account on our website.

In order to use the Platform, you must first create an account and become a member. Membership is limited for the purpose of buying or selling products, is subject to this Agreement and strictly not transferable.

What are the circumstances under which a User account can be suspended or terminated?

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account or access to Services (or any part thereof) on the Application including blocking any amounts due to the User and associated account without notice and the Users will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, if:

1. The User breaches any of these Terms and Conditions;

2. The Company reasonably suspects that such user has breached these Terms and Conditions;

3. The Company reasonably suspects that such user has failed to comply with applicable laws

4. The Company reasonably suspects that such user has engaged in fraudulent activity

How do I place an order on the Platform?

Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to browse through products offered by Suppliers. If you like what you see, click the “Place Order” button, which will take you to another page where you can complete your order. Once you’ve entered all of your information and clicked “Submit,” a confirmation page will open that includes important information about your order and its status.

Company shall send electronically a confirmation of an order to Company and the User concerned.

In addition, the Company may inform the User about any change in price or unavailability of an order as it is informed by a specific Supplier. The confirmation provided by that supplier regarding a particular item’s availability shall be considered final.

How does the Platform handle payment and settlement?

The Company is not a bank or financial institution, and it does not offer banking services. The Company is a facilitator that provides a third-party payment processor for transactions on the Application.

By accepting this Agreement, you agree that the Company is not liable for any charges made by your bank in relation to payment of the total amount.

Does Platform impose any restrictions on User’s use of the platform? Does it require User to meet certain standards or conditions in order for this Agreement to be effective?

User agrees not to use the Platform in any way that is unlawful, misleading, malicious or discriminatory.

1.      is grossly harmful, harassing, blasphemous, defamatory or obscene;

2.      belongs to another person and to which the User does not have a right whatsoever;

3.      is criminally inciting or invasive of another’s privacy;

4.      is hateful or racially, ethnically objectionable;

5.      disparaging of any person or entity;

6.      unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing including but not limited to “indecent representation of women” within the meaning of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986;

What information is Company collecting from a User? How does Company plan to use that data?

1) Information that is required for registration and activation of the User Account (name, email address, phone number, password, etc.).

2) Information regarding the User’s location and IP address during purchase/order placement or listing creation.

3) Information provided by Users when they contact Customer Support team via email or telephone call (name, email address, phone number).

4) Information provided by Users when they contact Customer Support team via chat support on Platform (“chat history”).

5) Information that is collected from Users will be used for facilitating various operations on Platform including registration, order placement, listing creation or payments.

The terms of this Agreement are subject to change.

We may modify the terms of this Agreement without prior notice at any time by posting the revised Agreement on our website. You agree that all subsequent access to or use of the Platform will be deemed acceptance of such revised terms and conditions. Please check this page periodically for updates as they are binding upon you.
